thread sizes on this one, is it a 3/4-16 on one end and 3/8-18 on the other, or am I reading that wrong?

You've got it right. One end is a 3/4-16 Male JIC with a 37-degree flare, conforming to SAE J514. The other end is a 3/8-18 Male NPTF, built to SAE J476.
