Question by: Cheryl H on Jan 17, 2026, 6:33 PM
Got a JIC line on one end and need to tie into a 3/4 NPT port on the other, this brass straight adapter do that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 19, 2026, 6:38 AM
That's what it's built for. One end is a 1-1/16-12 Male JIC with a 37-degree flare, conforming to SAE J514. The other end is a 3/4-14 Male NPTF thread, covered under SAE J476. So if your line has a mating JIC female fitting and your port takes a 3/4-14 NPTF connection, this adapter bridges those two without any additional fittings in between.
Question by: Rex W on Dec 25, 2025, 9:40 AM
trying to hook a JIC line to a pipe port, is this the right adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 26, 2025, 6:42 PM
For that kind of hookup, it bridges a 1-1/16-12 Male JIC SAE 37 degree flare on one end to a 3/4-14 Male NPTF on the other, so it is meant for a JIC flare connection to a female JIC side and a pipe thread connection to a female NPTF side.
Question by: Brent F on Aug 29, 2025, 6:10 PM
Is this the right fitting to hook up a line with a 37-degree flare to a NPTF port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 31, 2025, 10:03 AM
That's right, this adapter has a 1-1/16-12 Male JIC SAE 37-degree flare thread on one side and a 3/4-14 Male NPTF thread on the other, so it'll do what you need.
