got a hose end that’s male JIC 37 degree flare, how does this adapter finish out on the other side?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 10, 2025, 6:29 AM
On one end it has a Male JIC SAE 37 degree flare (SAE J514). The other end is a Male NPTF pipe thread (SAE J476), so it is meant to transition from JIC flare over to an NPTF male connection.

what's the pressure rating on this adapter? running a hydraulic line that'll see some pretty hard cycling and need to know it'll hold up
Answer by: Customer Support on May 30, 2025, 10:01 AM
Rated for 4,000 PSI maximum dynamic pressure, so it can handle demanding hydraulic circuits without issue. That rating covers dynamic conditions, meaning it holds under the kind of pressure swings you'd see in active cycling, not just static loads.
