Question by: Neil R on Jun 20, 2025, 4:29 PM
trying to hook a JIC hose end up to a pipe thread port, is this the right kind of adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 22, 2025, 6:42 AM
You use it when you need to go from a male JIC 37 degree flare connection on one side to a male NPTF pipe thread on the other. On this part, the JIC side is SAE J514 and the NPTF side is SAE J476.

Reckon this'll hold up if I'm running hydraulic fluid through it pretty much all day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 20, 2025, 5:39 PM
This 2404 series adapter is built from straight steel and can handle a maximum dynamic pressure of 3,000 psi, so it should be suitable for continuous use in demanding industrial applications.
Question by: Keith C on Jul 4, 2025, 7:05 AM
what's the pressure rating on this adapter, and will it hold up runnin hydraulic lines in a pretty heavy-duty setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 5, 2025, 5:28 PM
Rated for 3,000 psi dynamic pressure, this one from Brennan's 2404 series is built for demanding hydraulic work. Straight steel construction keeps it solid under sustained load, so it's not going to be the weak point in a heavy-duty system as long as you're operating within that pressure range.
