got a hose with a 1-5/16-12 JIC 37 flare end and i need to tie it into a 1-1/4-11-1/2 nptf port. is that what this adapter does?

It connects a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare on one side (Thread B1, 1-5/16-12 per SAE J514) to a male NPTF on the other (Thread B2, 1-1/4-11-1/2 per SAE J476) in a straight adapter body.
