So, this is just a straight adapter, right? No weird angles or nothin'?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 17, 2025, 1:45 PM
That's correct, this is a straight adapter, designed for simple, direct connections where no change in direction is needed.

got a hose end that’s 1-5/8-12 JIC 37 degree flare. is this the straight piece that’ll adapt it over to 1-11-1/2 male NPTF?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 26, 2025, 6:01 AM
You’re looking at a straight adapter with a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare on one side (thread B1: 1-5/8-12, SAE J514) and a male NPTF on the other (thread B2: 1-11-1/2, SAE J476), so it matches those two thread types and sizes.

Got a line running 1-inch NPT fittings on one end and JIC on the other, this thing rated high enough to handle it without blowing out on me?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 18, 2025, 12:53 PM
At 3,000 psi maximum dynamic pressure, it holds up well in demanding hydraulic lines. The male NPTF end meets SAE J476 and the male JIC 37-degree flare end meets SAE J514, so it bridges those two thread types without needing additional adapters in between. For most industrial hydraulic setups running at or below that pressure rating, it should hold without issue.
