got a hose with a #10 JIC male on it. will this fitting screw right on and give me a 1/2-14 female pipe port on the other side?

Built as a straight adapter, it has a #10 male JIC 37 degree flare thread on one end (7/8-14) and a female NPTF pipe thread on the other end (1/2-14). That lets you connect a #10 JIC female swivel to the JIC side and end up with a 1/2-14 female NPTF port on the pipe side.
