Question by: Eddie M on Nov 11, 2025, 10:07 AM
Will this fitting hold up in a hydraulic system that sees around 2,500 PSI?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 13, 2025, 6:44 AM
The #16 MJIC X #20 FP is rated for a maximum dynamic pressure of 2,500 PSI, so it should be suitable for your hydraulic system if it doesn't exceed that pressure.
Question by: Keith A on Dec 28, 2025, 12:51 PM
Got a 1-1/4 NPTF port on a manifold block, will this fitting thread straight into it on the female end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 30, 2025, 6:38 AM
That female end is a 1-1/4-11-1/2 NPTF thread, so yes, it'll mate up with a standard 1-1/4 NPTF port without any adapter in between. The male side is a #16 JIC SAE 37 degree flare at 1-5/16-12, so whatever hose or tube assembly you're connecting on that end needs to match that JIC size and thread pitch. Rated to 2,500 psi dynamic, so it should hold up fine in most hydraulic circuits running at normal working pressures.
