Question by: Marvin A on Mar 24, 2026, 8:49 PM
got a 3/4-16 female JIC line but the other side needs to be 1-1/16-12 male JIC, is that what this reducer is?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 26, 2026, 6:01 AM
For stepping between two JIC 37 degree flare sizes, that is exactly what it is built for. Side B1 is a female JIC SAE 37 degree flare with 3/4-16 threads, and side B2 is a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare with 1-1/16-12 threads, both to SAE J514.
Question by: Ross P on May 19, 2025, 1:07 PM
Thread sizes on this one are 3/4-16 female and 1-1/16-12 male, that right? Just wanna make sure before I go pulling lines apart on this machine.
Answer by: Customer Support on May 21, 2025, 7:34 AM
those sizes are correct. The female end is a 3/4-16 JIC SAE 37-degree flare, and the male end is 1-1/16-12, also a JIC SAE 37-degree flare. Both threads conform to SAE J514, so if your fittings are spec'd to that standard, you're in good shape.
Question by: Dean P on Jan 3, 2026, 6:58 PM
Will this here reducer work okay with standard JIC fittings?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 4, 2026, 7:41 PM
Yes, this straight reducer is designed with both a female and a male JIC SAE 37-degree flare, so it should be compatible with standard JIC fittings that meet SAE J514 specifications.
