Question by: Tommy T on Apr 3, 2025, 3:09 PM
trying to swap out a fitting on a -8 hose, is this one set up for an ORFS female swivel end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 5, 2025, 7:30 AM
The key callouts are ORFS on the female end and a -8 hose dash size. It is a 45 degree elbow style in the Winner by Danfoss and Eaton 2-piece crimp fitting family, so it matches that ORFS female flat seat swivel configuration.
Question by: Johnny G on Sep 1, 2025, 1:05 PM
what industries is this fitting actually built for, or is it more of a general-purpose part?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 3, 2025, 8:57 AM
Carbon steel construction and Dura-Kote plating put this fitting in solid standing for demanding environments. Mobile equipment, mining use, shipyard work, wind power systems, and primary metal processing are all named applications. It holds up where corrosion and pressure are real concerns, not just theoretical ones.
