what's the micron rating on this filter element, and is 25 micron considered fine filtration or more of a general-purpose setup?

does this replace the SF-6510 filter element, or is that a whole different part number situation

Same part, different label. SF-6510 is the older SKU tied to this Stauff element, catalog number C1GA43. You're looking at a 25 micron nominal paper element at 5.68 inches. If that matches what you pulled out of your housing, you're good to go.
