Forged from steel and rated to 5,000 PSI maximum dynamic pressure, this 90-degree reducing elbow delivers a reliable direction change in high-pressure hydraulic lines where a straight connection isn't practical. The 12MJ-10MJ 90 Forged 1 features dual Male JIC SAE 37-degree flare threads conforming to SAE J514, a 1-1/16-12 thread on one end and a 7/8-14 thread on the other, making it suited for reducing configurations within JIC-based hydraulic circuits.

Forged steel construction provides the structural integrity expected in demanding hydraulic environments. Both connection ends share the same JIC flare geometry, simplifying compatibility across standard JIC fittings and assemblies. Part of Brennan Industries' 2500-FG series, this fitting carries a Prop 65 warning for California residents.

trying to swap a straight fitting for a 90, are both ends on this elbow male JIC 37 degree flare?

Both ends are male JIC SAE 37 degree flare threads built to SAE J514. One side is 1-1/16-12 and the other side is 7/8-14, so it is a reducing 90 degree elbow.

got a 1-1/16-12 port on one end and need to step down to a 7/8-14 on the other end, and I also need a 90-degree turn in the same spot, is this the fitting that handles both at once?

Yeah, that's exactly what this one does. One end is 1-1/16-12 Male JIC and the other is 7/8-14 Male JIC, both with the SAE 37-degree flare geometry per SAE J514. So you get the size reduction and the direction change in a single forged steel fitting rather than stacking two separate pieces in the line.
