Question by: Todd B on Apr 29, 2025, 6:54 PM
What kind of threads are on each end of this fitting, and will they play nice with both JIC and pipe thread setups in the same line?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 1, 2025, 3:58 PM
One end carries a male JIC SAE 37-degree flare at 1-5/16-12, built to SAE J514 spec. The other end is a male NPTF thread sized at 3/4-14, meeting SAE J476. So yeah, if you've got a JIC flare port on one side and a standard tapered pipe thread on the other, this adapter bridges that gap right at a 90-degree angle without needing extra pieces in between.
Question by: Roy C on Jan 6, 2026, 8:58 AM
trying to hook a JIC line into a 3/4 NPTF port with a 90, is that what this fitting is?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 7, 2026, 7:39 PM
For tying those two styles together, yes. One end is a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare per SAE J514 with 1-5/16-12 threads, and the other end is a male NPTF per SAE J476 with 3/4-14 threads, built as a 90 degree elbow.
Question by: Phil H on Nov 16, 2025, 6:53 AM
What size threads does this elbow have? I'm needing to hook up two different sizes.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 17, 2025, 11:31 AM
For connecting different setups, this elbow adapter features a male JIC SAE 37-degree flare with a 1-5/16-12 thread size on one end, and a male NPTF connection with a 3/4-14 thread size on the other.
