Forged steel construction gives this extra-long 90-degree elbow the structural integrity needed for high-pressure hydraulic service, with a rated maximum dynamic pressure of 6,000 PSI. The 04MJ-02MP 90 Deg XX-Long Elbow connects a 7/16-20 Male JIC SAE 37-degree flare (Thread B1, per SAE J514) to a 1/8-27 Male NPTF thread (Thread B2, per SAE J476), making it well suited for routing hydraulic lines where a standard-length elbow would not clear surrounding components. The extended overall length of 2.310 inches provides additional clearance in tight installations where standard elbows fall short.

Manufactured by Brennan Industries and part of the 2501-LLL-FG series, this fitting meets California Proposition 65 requirements. The JIC-to-NPTF configuration supports common adaptation needs in hydraulic circuits where mixed thread standards are present.

What’s the deal with the extra length on this elbow? I’m fighting for space here.

The XX-Long designation means this elbow is longer than standard, giving you 2.310 inches of overall length. This added length helps clear obstacles when a regular elbow won't quite do the trick.
