Question by: Hank C on Dec 12, 2025, 12:34 PM
Does this elbow handle high-pressure lines or is it more of a low-pressure fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 14, 2025, 6:12 AM
Rated at 6,000 psi maximum dynamic pressure, this fitting holds up well in demanding hydraulic systems. It's forged steel construction, so it's not a lightweight or low-duty piece. If your line runs under that threshold, you're in good shape.
Question by: Darryl C on Oct 28, 2025, 8:32 PM
Will this elbow handle high pressure applications?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 30, 2025, 12:23 PM
This elbow is forged from steel and rated for a maximum dynamic pressure of 6,000 psi, so it should be suitable for demanding industrial uses.
Question by: Johnny H on Jul 14, 2025, 8:45 PM
got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC, will this elbow screw right on and turn it 45 degrees?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 16, 2025, 6:40 AM
On the JIC side, you are getting a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare with 9/16-18 threads, so it matches up to a 9/16-18 JIC female swivel. The fitting is a 45 degree elbow, and the other end is a male NPTF 1/8-27.
