Constructed from forged stainless steel, the Brennan 08MJ-12MP 45 Elbow Stainless is a 45-degree hydraulic elbow fitting rated for dynamic pressures up to 5,500 PSI. The forged construction provides consistent material integrity throughout the fitting body, making it well suited for demanding hydraulic circuits where corrosion resistance is a priority.

This fitting connects a Male JIC SAE 37-Degree Flare thread (1/2-20, per SAE J514) on one end to a Male NPTF thread (3/4-14, per SAE J476) on the other, accommodating common mixed-thread configurations found in hydraulic and fluid power assemblies. The 45-degree angle allows for directional routing in space-constrained installations without requiring tight-radius bends. Part of Brennan Industries' 2503-FG series, this fitting is manufactured to recognized SAE standards on both connection ends.

Will this fitting hold up to continuous use in a hydraulic system running around 5,000 PSI?

Forged stainless steel gives this elbow fitting a dynamic pressure rating up to 5,500 PSI, so it should handle continuous operation at 5,000 PSI as long as your system doesn't experience pressure spikes above that level.
