Running a big articulated dump hauler and need to know if this unit can keep up with the flow demand. What's the actual flow rate on this thing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 27, 2025, 8:06 PM
Rated at 95 LPM on the low end and up to 189 L/min at the top, so roughly 25 to 50 gallons per minute. For articulated dump haulers and large equipment in that class, that range covers the kind of steering demand those machines put on a system. It's built specifically with articulated vehicle applications in mind, so the flow capacity lines up with what that duty requires.

Wondering if this unit would be a direct swap for the one on my older John Deere tractor?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 28, 2025, 9:38 PM
For articulated and fixed-frame vehicles like ag tractors, this Danfoss / Eaton Series 25 steering control unit should fit right in. Just make sure your flow rate needs are around 95 LPM and pressure tops out at 240 bar (3,500 psi).
