pump direction on this thing reversible in the field, or do you have to send it back out to get that done?

Field reversible is built right into this pump, so swapping rotation direction is something you can handle on-site without shipping it anywhere. That feature was specifically included to keep downtime low when your setup or hydraulic connections needs to change.
