Danfoss / Eaton Cessna Gear Pump

Description & Features

Rated for a minimum working temperature of -20°C, this fixed displacement external gear pump from Danfoss Power Solutions is built for demanding industrial and agricultural environments. The Danfoss / Eaton Cessna Gear Pump operates across a broad range of sectors, including material handling, civil engineering, metal forming, natural resources, and specialty construction.

Field reversible pump direction adds installation flexibility, while an input drive lubrication orifice in the frontplate supports reliable internal lubrication under continuous duty conditions. Reduced noise and vibration characteristics make it well suited for equipment where operational comfort and mechanical longevity are priorities. Volumetric and mechanical efficiency are strong points of the Series L2 design.

Question by: Todd C on Feb 12, 2026, 2:28 PM
pump says it's field reversible, does that mean I can swap rotation without pulling it apart or sending it back somewhere?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 14, 2026, 6:50 AM
Field reversible means you can change the rotation direction on-site without returning it for reconfiguration. That kind of flexibility matters when you're fitting a pump to an existing setup where the drive rotation isn't always ideal. It's one of the practical advantages built into the Series L2 design.

Reckon this'll bolt right in where my old Cessna pump was?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 4, 2025, 6:11 AM
Designed for drop-in replacement on many Cessna applications, this Danfoss/Eaton gear pump should fit the same mounting pattern. Verify the port sizes and shaft dimensions match your existing unit to ensure proper connection.
