Designed for demanding fixed-displacement hydraulic circuits, the Danfoss / Eaton Cessna Gear Pump is an external gear pump rated for use across a broad range of industrial and heavy-duty applications. Suitable environments include agricultural machinery, civil engineering equipment, material handling systems, metal forming, primary metals processing, specialty construction, and natural resources sectors.
The pump operates down to a minimum working temperature of -20°, making it suitable for cold-climate deployments. Field-reversible pump direction adds installation flexibility without requiring additional components. Reduced noise and vibration characteristics support consistent performance in noise-sensitive or precision environments, while improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency help maintain reliable output across varying load conditions.

Question by: Phil M on Aug 24, 2025, 8:25 PM
pump says it's field reversible, does that mean I can swap the rotation direction myself without sendin it back or havin any special tools?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 26, 2025, 6:28 AM
Field reversible means the rotation direction can be changed on-site without returning the unit or requiring factory service. For a gear pump like this, that typically involves repositioning internal components to change the inlet and outlet orientation. It's a practical feature when you're setting up equipment where the drive rotation isn't standardized across your fleet.

got a machine that needs the pump to spin the other way, is this one reversible or am i stuck with one direction
Answer by: Customer Support on May 9, 2025, 6:43 AM
Field reversible pump direction is one of the listed features, so you can set it up to run in either direction depending on how your system needs it.
