Danfoss / Eaton-Gear Pump ASSY

Description & Features

Designed for demanding fluid power applications across agricultural, civil engineering, material handling, and specialty construction equipment, the Danfoss / Eaton Gear Pump Assembly is a fixed displacement external gear pump engineered for reliable performance across a wide range of industrial machinery. Its field-reversible pump direction adds flexibility for installations where rotation requirements may vary.

Built to Danfoss Power Solutions standards, this Series L2 unit delivers reduced noise and vibration alongside improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency, making it well suited for primary metals processing, metal forming, and natural resources equipment where consistent output and low operating disturbance matter. A minimum working temperature rating of -20°C supports use in cold-climate or outdoor environments.

Question by: Frank S on Oct 5, 2025, 4:17 PM
pump says it's field reversible, what does that actually mean for someone swapping it into a machine that runs the opposite rotation from what I've got now?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 7, 2025, 10:12 AM
Reversing the pump direction on this unit can be done in the field without sending it back or special tooling. If the machine you're dropping it into runs opposite to your current setup, you can reconfigure the rotation on-site during installation. That kind of flexibility matters when you're working across different equipment that wasn't all spec'd the same way.
Question by: Clint L on Jul 24, 2025, 5:26 PM
Will this gear pump work okay in cold weather? We get some pretty harsh winters here.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 26, 2025, 6:40 AM
It is rated down to a minimum working temperature of -20°C, so it should hold up well in cold climates or outdoor settings.
