Designed for demanding industrial and agricultural environments, the Danfoss / Eaton-L2 Gear Pump MULTI Unit is a fixed displacement external gear pump built to deliver reliable hydraulic power across a wide range of mobile and stationary applications. Suitable for use in civil engineering, material handling, metal forming, natural resources, and specialty construction equipment, it covers a broad application footprint within a compact, field-serviceable package.

The pump features reduced noise and vibration alongside improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency. Pump direction is field reversible, supporting flexible installation configurations. The unit uses a 2-bolt SAE flange series 82-2 mounting with an 11-tooth output shaft and a 17.5 minimum full spline. Accepting a 31.8 mating shaft extension requires a spacer and coupler. Minimum working temperature is -20°C.

Got a skid steer that runs pretty cold in the winter months, curious if this pump can hold up when temps drop way down low?

Cold weather operation is something this unit was built to handle. The minimum working temperature is rated at -20°C, so it can handle serious winter conditions without issue. That covers most cold-climate field use without needing any special cold-start accommodations beyond what you'd normally do for your hydraulic fluid.
