Danfoss / Eaton-L2 Gear Pump (MULTIPLE)

Description & Features

Designed for demanding fixed-displacement hydraulic applications, the Danfoss / Eaton-L2 Gear Pump delivers reliable performance across a broad range of industrial and field-based equipment. Its external gear design supports a minimum operating temperature of -20°C, making it suited for year-round use in variable environmental conditions.

Field-reversible pump direction adds installation flexibility, while reduced noise and vibration contribute to more consistent operation in noise-sensitive environments. Improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency help maintain consistent output across agricultural equipment, material handling systems, civil engineering machinery, metal forming, specialty construction, natural resources equipment, and primary metals applications.

Question by: Johnny J on Jul 13, 2025, 7:41 PM
pump says field reversible -- does that mean I can change rotation direction myself once it's already mounted up, or does it have to come back apart to do it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 15, 2025, 6:11 AM
Field reversibility means you can swap the rotation direction without sending it out or doing a full teardown. It's set up to allow that adjustment on site, which saves real time when you're working through an installation and realize the shaft needs to turn the other way.

This Danfoss/Eaton L2 gear pump is rated down to -20°C, making it suitable for cold weather operation.
