Danfoss / Eaton-L2 Gear Pump (MULTI)

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial and mobile hydraulic applications, the Danfoss / Eaton-L2 Gear Pump (MULTI) is a fixed displacement external gear pump suited for use across agricultural, civil engineering, material handling, metal forming, natural resources, and specialty construction sectors.

Featuring field-reversible pump direction, this unit offers installation flexibility without requiring additional components. Reduced noise and vibration characteristics make it a practical choice for environments where operational acoustics are a consideration. Volumetric and mechanical efficiency are addressed in the design, contributing to reliable performance across a broad range of hydraulic circuits.

The pump is rated for a minimum working temperature of -20°C, supporting year-round use in outdoor and temperature-variable environments. Marketed under the Char-Lynn sub-brand, it carries a standard lead time of 90 days and is sold individually.

been runnin gear pumps on our harvest equipment for years and curious if this one can handle gettin flipped for direction without tearin it apart or orderin extra parts

Field reversibility is built right into this pump, so switching rotation direction doesn't call for additional components or any special teardown. That's a real convenience when you're mounting it in a tight spot or working with an existing circuit that runs a specific port orientation. Just set it up the way your system needs and you're good to go.
