Question by: Clint W on Nov 12, 2025, 9:52 AM
what all can this hose handle fluid-wise? asking cause we run a mix of gasoline lines and lube oil circuits on the same rig
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 13, 2025, 10:17 AM
Rated for gasoline, crude fuel, lubricating oils, air, and water. The synthetic rubber tube and chloroprene cover hold up across that range, so running it on both fuel and lube oil circuits on the same setup is well within what it's built for.

Is this hose okay for use with regular gasoline?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 26, 2025, 6:46 AM
This Aeroquip hose is designed for gasoline, crude fuel, and lubricating oils, as well as air and water applications.
Question by: Rusty G on Jul 25, 2025, 12:08 PM
got a tight spot to route hose, how sharp can this 2583-6 bend without kinkin it up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 27, 2025, 6:09 AM
For tight routing, the minimum bend radius on the 2583-6 is 4 inches. Staying at or above that bend radius helps keep the hose from being forced into an overly sharp turn.
