Male Connector

Description & Features

Constructed from stainless steel, this SAE 37° flare to NPTF Male Connector is engineered for use in hydraulic, instrumentation, and chemical processing systems where corrosion resistance and connection reliability are critical. The fitting transitions between a 1/8 in. NPTF male end and a 4 MJIC (SAE 37° flare) male end in a straight configuration, making it a practical solution for joining dissimilar thread types in demanding fluid system assemblies.

Manufactured by Eaton Aeroquip as part of the 2021 Series, this connector meets ASME, SAE, and ASA certifications and is rated for operating pressures above standard SAE thresholds. The stainless steel construction supports a minimum working temperature of -65°F, making it suitable for low-temperature service environments. Dura-Kote plating provides an additional layer of corrosion protection across the fitting's exterior surfaces.

Question by: Jean W on Apr 19, 2025, 9:04 PM
got a line with 1/8 NPTF on one side and a 37 degree flare on the other, is this the right kinda adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 21, 2025, 10:38 AM
It’s a straight adapter built for a SAE 37 degree male flare on one end and a male NPTF pipe thread on the other, so it matches that flare to pipe-thread hookup.
Question by: Darryl C on Aug 17, 2025, 9:53 AM
Will this connector hold up to hydraulic applications, or is it just for instrumentation?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 19, 2025, 6:45 AM
Designed for hydraulic, instrumentation, and chemical processing systems, this connector will certainly work in hydraulic applications.
