pump says CCW rotation on the shaft end, just want to make sure i'm reading that right before i pull the trigger on this one

Correct read. Rotation on vane pumps is measured looking at the shaft end, and this one turns counterclockwise from that view. If your power unit or PTO drives clockwise from that same perspective, this would not be the right fit. Worth confirming before ordering since rotation is not field-reversible on this series.
