Question by: Harvey M on Oct 12, 2025, 6:47 AM
what's the difference between in-line outlet versus other outlet configurations on these vane pumps
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 13, 2025, 5:43 PM
In-line outlet configuration means the inlet and outlet ports are positioned on opposite sides of the pump body, creating a straight flow path through the unit. Other common configurations include side ports or angled outlets where the flow direction changes as it moves through the pump. The in-line setup often makes installation easier in systems where you want fluid to flow straight through without directional changes, and it can simplify piping layouts in certain hydraulic circuits.

reckon this 25VQ vane pump has the outlet in line with the inlet? need to know for my setup
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 15, 2025, 6:59 AM
It sure does, with the outlet positioned in-line with the inlet, along with clockwise rotation and that 13 tooth SAE B splined shaft on the 17 ring size model.
