Question by: Kurt P on Mar 2, 2026, 8:48 PM
pump says it's field reversible, how hard is that to actually do, and do you need special tools for it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 4, 2026, 8:36 AM
Reversing the pump direction on a Series 26 unit is meant to be done in the field without sending it back or swapping it out entirely. The design accounts for it, so you're not fighting the hardware to make it happen. No exotic tooling required under normal circumstances. It's one of the more practical features on this pump, especially when you're dealing with installations where the drive rotation doesn't match what you originally planned for.
Question by: Kent H on Nov 18, 2025, 4:44 PM
Will this gear pump work okay in cold weather, like down around -20C?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 20, 2025, 12:07 PM
Absolutely, this Danfoss / Eaton-GR pump is rated for a minimum working temperature of -20°C, so it should handle those colder conditions without any problem.
