Reckon this'll hold up in cold weather on my tractor?

pump says it's field reversible, does that mean I can switch the rotation direction myself out in the shop without sending it back or ordering extra parts?

Field-reversible means exactly that. You can reconfigure the rotation direction on-site without needing additional components.
