Question by: Ross B on Jun 1, 2025, 7:39 PM
does this pump work in cold weather or is it gonna have issues starting up in freezing temps?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 3, 2025, 6:18 AM
Cold-weather operation is built into this unit. The minimum working temperature is rated at -20°C, so running it in freezing conditions falls well within spec. You shouldn't have trouble getting it going in a cold barn or out on a frost-covered field first thing in the morning.
Question by: Lynn H on Feb 2, 2026, 2:39 PM
Will this pump work okay in cold weather?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 4, 2026, 6:14 AM
It should. This Series 26 gear pump is rated down to a minimum working temperature of -20°C, so it's built for cold-weather environments.
