Got a Series 26 gear pump here and wondering what the cold weather limit is on it. We run equipment pretty hard through the winter months and need something that ain't gonna have problems starting up when temps drop.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 19, 2025, 6:30 AM
Rated down to -20°C minimum working temperature, so it holds up well in cold operating conditions. That puts it in solid shape for cold-season use on equipment that has to stay productive through hard winters without hydraulic performance falling off at startup.
Question by: Sheila T on Jul 12, 2025, 8:53 PM
This gear pump -- is it okay to run it in cold weather?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 14, 2025, 4:07 PM
Rated for use down to -20°C, it's designed for demanding environments where consistent output is essential, including cold weather.
