Danfoss / Eaton-GR Pump (BQR-DIST)

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic applications, the Danfoss / Eaton-GR Pump (BQR-DIST) is a fixed displacement external gear pump from the Series 26 product line. It delivers reduced noise and vibration alongside improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency, making it well suited for use in tractors, harvesters, compactors, sweepers, lift trucks, fan drive systems, and steering circuits, among other auxiliary work circuits.

The pump supports field-reversible direction, which simplifies installation and service in applications where flow direction requirements may change. A minimum working temperature rating of -20°C extends its usability across a range of environmental conditions. The Series 26 platform is a recognized choice for machine tools and rotary or reel mower applications where consistent hydraulic output is required.

Question by: Neal H on Apr 10, 2025, 6:05 PM
What kind of operating temperature can this handle? I'm thinkin' it gets pretty cold out on the farm sometimes.

A minimum working temperature of -20°C means it should hold up even when it gets pretty cold.
Question by: Wade W on Apr 26, 2025, 2:02 PM
runs quieter than most gear pumps i've dealt with, but does that hold up in actual field use or is that just marketing talk?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 28, 2025, 6:09 AM
Reduced noise and vibration is a built-in design feature of the Series 26 platform, not just a spec line. External gear pumps in this class tend to be louder than piston or vane designs, but Danfoss engineered this one to run noticeably smoother than older-generation gear pumps. For tractors, mowers, and similar equipment where the pump runs close to the operator, that difference is real and noticeable over a full day of use.
