Question by: Norm T on Sep 9, 2025, 10:39 AM
got a tractor with a gear pump setup, would this Danfoss Eaton Cessna Series 26 pump make sense for that kind of job?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 11, 2025, 9:28 AM
For tractor and harvester hydraulics, this pump is a common fit in the sense that its listed applications include tractors and harvesters, along with auxiliary work circuits and steering circuits. It is an external gear pump in the Danfoss Power Solutions and Eaton Char-Lynn family, so it lines up with the type of equipment that normally uses a fixed displacement gear pump.
Question by: Larry K on Apr 28, 2025, 6:09 AM
pump says it's field reversible, does that mean I can swap the rotation direction myself out in the shop, or is that more of a factory setup thing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 29, 2025, 7:04 AM
Field reversible means you can change the rotation direction without sending it back anywhere. It's set up to allow that kind of adjustment on-site, so if your circuit runs clockwise or counterclockwise, you've got flexibility to configure it where you're working rather than waiting on a special-order unit.
