Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Earl K on Sep 7, 2025, 1:45 PM
does this pump work in cold weather, like will it still run okay when temps drop way down in winter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 9, 2025, 6:37 AM
Cold weather operation is actually one of the areas where this pump holds up well. The Viton shaft seal is rated down to -20 degrees Celsius, so it can handle hard freezes without the seal breaking down or leaking. That said, fluid viscosity at startup is always worth watching in extreme cold, but the pump itself is built to tolerate those low temperatures.
