pump says it's field reversible, what does that actually mean for someone swapping it into an existing setup?

Rotation direction on this pump can be changed without pulling special parts or sending it back anywhere. If your circuit runs clockwise and you need counterclockwise, or the other way around, you can make that switch in the field. That's useful when you're fitting it into a machine where the original pump ran a different direction, saves you from hunting down a separate model just to match rotation.
