06MJ-06MJ-04MJ TEE FORGED 1

Description & Features

Forged from steel, the 06MJ-06MJ-04MJ Tee Forged is a run-reduced tee fitting designed for hydraulic line connections requiring a branch outlet in a smaller thread size. All three ports use Male JIC SAE 37-degree flare threads conforming to SAE J514, the two run ports are 9/16-18, while the branch port steps down to 7/16-20. This configuration suits applications where a smaller branch line taps off a common feed circuit.

Rated to 6,000 PSI maximum dynamic pressure, the forged steel construction provides the structural integrity expected in demanding hydraulic environments. The compact overall length of 2.120 inches keeps the fitting suitable for installations with limited clearance. Manufactured by Brennan Industries under the 2603-FG series, this fitting carries a California Proposition 65 warning.

got a tee where the straight-through ports are 9/16-18, but i need the side branch smaller. is that what this one is?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 7, 2025, 4:06 PM
For a run-reduced tee setup, this fitting matches that layout. The two run ports are Male JIC 37 degree flare, 9/16-18, and the branch port steps down to Male JIC 37 degree flare, 7/16-20, all to SAE J514.

run ports on this tee are both 9/16-18, but my branch line only needs 7/16-20, that the right setup for tappin off a smaller circuit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 16, 2025, 6:30 AM
That's what this fitting is built for. The two run ports hold the main line at 9/16-18 and the branch steps down to 7/16-20, so you get a reduced outlet without needing an extra reducer in the line. All three ports are Male JIC with the SAE 37-degree flare, all conforming to SAE J514. Pretty clean solution when your branch circuit runs smaller hardware than the feed.

What’s the deal with that Prop 65 warning? Just wanna make sure I’m not gonna grow a third arm or somethin’.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 4, 2026, 12:52 PM
That warning is a requirement for products sold in California that may contain chemicals known to cause cancer or reproductive harm. It's a general notice, and the fitting is still safe for its intended use in hydraulic systems when handled properly.
