Question by: Bobby M on Dec 29, 2025, 3:19 PM
runs fine on my harvester right now but the old pump's getting noisy and losing pressure, would this Series 26 be a straight swap for a steering circuit application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 31, 2025, 6:33 AM
Steering circuits are one of the primary applications this pump was built around, along with harvesters specifically, so you're already in the right territory. The Series 26 is a fixed displacement external gear pump, and one of its noted improvements over older designs is reduced noise and vibration, which sounds like exactly what you're chasing. Whether it's a direct bolt-in depends on your existing hydraulic connections and port configuration, but the application fit is solid.
