Can this pump run in both directions, or is it locked into one rotation from the factory?

Field reversible pump direction is a built-in feature on this unit, so you're not stuck with one rotation out of the box. You can swap the direction without sending it back or sourcing a different model, which saves real time on installations where shaft rotation doesn't match what you expected.
