pump says it's field reversible -- does that mean i can swap the rotation direction without pulling it apart or sending it back out?

Field reversible means you can change the rotation direction on-site without returning the unit or doing a full teardown. For gear pumps in this series, that's a real time-saver when you're reconfiguring a circuit or swapping it into a different machine than originally planned. Just make sure your port orientation and hydraulic connections match up after the change.

got a steering circuit on a tractor, would this gear pump make sense for that kind of setup?
