CESSNA PUMP

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic applications, the Cessna Pump is a fixed displacement external gear pump in the Danfoss/Eaton Series 26 family. It is suited for use in tractors and harvesters, lift trucks, machine tools, steering circuits, fan drive systems, compactors, sweepers, rotary and reel mowers, and auxiliary work circuits.

The pump delivers reduced noise and vibration alongside improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency. A field-reversible pump direction adds flexibility during installation and servicing. With a minimum working temperature rating of -20°, it is appropriate for use in cold-weather environments. The 5.12-inch width fits within standard equipment envelopes for compact machine integration.

Question by: Dustin S on Mar 18, 2026, 9:55 PM
Will this pump work okay in cold weather? I'm thinking down to like -10 or -15 sometimes.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 20, 2026, 9:50 PM
The minimum working temperature for this Cessna pump is -20 degrees, so it should handle those temperatures without any problems.
Question by: Troy B on May 4, 2025, 6:13 PM
Does this pump work on both tractors and lift trucks, or is it more of a one-or-the-other deal?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 5, 2025, 6:49 PM
Gear pumps in the Series 26 family tend to pull double duty across a pretty wide range of equipment. This one is rated for tractors, harvesters, lift trucks, fan drive systems, steering circuits, compactors, sweepers, rotary and reel mowers, and auxiliary work circuits. So yeah, running it on a tractor one season and swapping it into a lift truck application later is well within what it's built for.
