Question by: Scott L on Apr 7, 2025, 1:57 PM
What kind of machines is this Series 26 pump typically found on?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 9, 2025, 6:14 AM
You'll find this gear pump working on tractors, harvesters, and machine tools, plus steering circuits, compactors, and sweepers. It's also used in rotary mowers, lift trucks, and fan drive systems.
Question by: Tony S on Mar 30, 2026, 12:58 PM
pump says it can reverse direction in the field, how involved is that process, and is it something a mechanic can do without pulling the whole unit off the machine?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 31, 2026, 2:22 PM
Field reversible pump direction is a built-in feature on this unit, so you're not looking at a full teardown or a trip to a shop. A competent mechanic who's comfortable with hydraulic components should be able to handle it on-site. It's one of the things that makes this pump practical for setups where the hydraulic configuration might change or where it needs to be swapped into a different position on the machine.
