Can this gear pump handle tractor hydraulics without bogging down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 31, 2025, 8:45 PM
Designed for use in tractors and harvesters, this gear pump provides reliable performance in demanding hydraulic applications, so it should hold up just fine.
Question by: Todd H on Mar 19, 2026, 10:10 AM
pump direction being field reversible, does that mean I can swap it without pulling the whole unit apart, or is it more involved than that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 20, 2026, 11:44 AM
Field reversible means you can change the rotation direction on-site without swapping out the pump entirely. It's built into how the Series 26 is designed, so you're not looking at a full teardown just to flip the flow direction. That kind of flexibility comes in real handy when you're retrofitting it into an existing circuit or dealing with a system where the drive rotation isn't what you originally planned for.
