Danfoss / Eaton-Gear Pump (26S/MULTIPLE

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic applications, the Danfoss / Eaton-Gear Pump (26S/Multiple is a fixed displacement external gear pump suited for use in tractors, harvesters, lift trucks, compactors, sweepers, rotary and reel mowers, fan drive systems, steering circuits, and auxiliary work circuits. Its broad application range makes it a practical choice across both agricultural and industrial equipment platforms.

The pump delivers reduced noise and vibration alongside improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency. Field-reversible pump direction adds installation flexibility, allowing the unit to be configured for different circuit requirements without replacing the pump. A minimum working temperature rating of -20°C supports reliable performance in cold-weather environments.

Question by: Joyce W on Jan 29, 2026, 8:12 PM
Can this gear pump handle cold weather without issues?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 31, 2026, 7:35 PM
It's rated down to -20°C, so it should operate reliably in cold conditions.
Question by: Tammy W on Jun 6, 2025, 2:26 PM
pump says it's field reversible, how hard is that to actually do out in the field without pulling the whole unit off the machine?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 8, 2025, 8:47 AM
Reversing the rotation direction on this pump is built to be done without swapping out the unit entirely. That feature is there specifically so you can reconfigure it for different circuit setups without a full teardown. It's not a complex procedure, and it's meant to be handled during installation or when circuit requirements change, rather than requiring a shop rebuild.
