Question by: Warren W on Mar 27, 2026, 11:14 AM
pump direction being field reversible, does that mean I can swap the rotation on it without pulling it off the machine, or does it still need to come off to make that change?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 29, 2026, 6:25 AM
Field reversible means the pump can be set up to run in either direction, but in practice you're still going to need to get hands on it to make the change. It won't swap rotation on its own while it's running. What it saves you is having to source a completely separate pump for a different rotation requirement. Good news for anyone running it on equipment where the drive direction isn't always the same from one setup to the next.

Is this Eaton pump noisy? I'm tryin' not to wake the whole neighborhood when I use my mower early in the mornin'.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 8, 2025, 10:44 AM
Reduced noise and vibration are listed as features, so it should run quieter than some other pumps.
