DANFOSS / EATON-SERIES 26 GEAR PUMP

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic applications, the Danfoss / Eaton Series 26 Gear Pump is a fixed-displacement external gear pump suited for use in tractors, harvesters, lift trucks, compactors, sweepers, machine tools, fan drive systems, steering circuits, and auxiliary work circuits. Its broad application range makes it a practical choice across both agricultural and industrial equipment platforms.

The pump features reduced noise and vibration characteristics, along with improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency relative to comparable fixed-displacement designs. Field-reversible pump direction adds installation flexibility without requiring separate pump variants for different circuit configurations. A minimum working temperature rating of -20°C supports reliable performance in cold-weather environments.

Reckon this pump'd be alright for my tractor, it's an older model but the hydraulics take a beatin'?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 3, 2026, 7:10 AM
This Danfoss / Eaton Series 26 gear pump is indeed suited for tractors and harvesters, among other applications. It's designed for demanding mobile hydraulic applications so it should hold up to heavy use.
Question by: Kent C on Feb 5, 2026, 8:53 AM
runs in both directions, or do I need a separate pump depending on which way my circuit's turning?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 7, 2026, 7:31 AM
Field-reversible direction is built into this pump, so you can swap rotation without swapping parts. No need to stock two different pump variants just because one machine runs clockwise and another runs counter. That flexibility makes it a lot easier to work across different equipment setups with a single unit on the shelf.
