Danfoss / Eaton Double GR Pump W/LS

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, the Danfoss / Eaton Double GR Pump W/LS is a fixed displacement external gear pump built to handle a broad range of working environments, with a minimum operating temperature of -20°C. The double pump configuration with load-sensing capability suits applications where multiple hydraulic functions must be served efficiently from a single drive source.

Rated for use across tractors and harvesters, lift trucks, compactors, sweepers, fan drive systems, steering circuits, and rotary mowers, this unit covers a wide application footprint in both agricultural and industrial equipment. Key design characteristics include reduced noise and vibration, improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency, and a field-reversible pump direction, a practical advantage for servicing and installation flexibility.

Char-Lynn branded under the Danfoss / Eaton product family, this pump measures 5.12 inches in width and is documented in English.

Can this double pump handle the kinda work you see on a tractor out in the fields?

This Danfoss/Eaton double gear pump is rated for tractors and harvesters, so it should hold up just fine to the demands of agricultural work.

pump says it's field reversible. what does that actually mean when you go to install it, does something need to be moved around or is it more of a port configuration thing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 29, 2025, 6:09 AM
Rotation direction on this pump can be changed without replacing the unit. In practice, that means if the drive rotation on your equipment runs opposite to how the pump was originally set up, you can reconfigure it in the field rather than sourcing a separate model. It's a real time-saver on installs where shaft rotation varies between machine platforms.
