Rated to SAE 100R5 and approved by MSHA, DNV, and USCG, the Aeroquip 1 WR Braid Hose .50 ID is a conductive, single-wire-reinforced hose built for demanding fuel and fluid transfer applications. Its synthetic rubber inner tube is reinforced with a polyester and wire 2-ply braid construction, then covered in chloroprene rubber for reliable abrasion protection across a wide service temperature range starting at -40°F.
Suited for use with gasoline, fuel, lubricating oils, hydraulic fluid, air, and water, this -10 dash size hose offers a minimum bend radius of 5.5 inches and is rated for 500,000 impulse cycles. The embossed lay line aids installation and identification in the field. Compatible with reusable fittings, it supports a broad range of fuel system configurations with a single hose type, reducing inventory complexity in multi-fuel environments.

Question by: Glen B on May 8, 2025, 8:42 AM
got a fuel line job coming up. is this 2651 hose okay for gasoline and oil, or is it more of a straight hydraulic hose
Answer by: Customer Support on May 10, 2025, 6:50 AM
For mixed service, the 2651 series is a solid fit. It is listed for hydraulics, gasoline, fuel and lubricating oils, plus air and water, so it is meant to cover those common engine and fuel line fluids.
Question by: Curt C on Jul 23, 2025, 9:53 AM
hose is rated for fuel use, but what about straight up hydraulic fluid applications? runs a loader and wondering if this'll hold up day in and day out
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 24, 2025, 2:05 PM
Hydraulic fluid is listed right alongside fuel and lubricating oils as an intended application for this hose, so running it on a loader is well within what it's built for. The 2-ply polyester and wire braid reinforcement gives it the structural backbone for working pressure demands, and the synthetic rubber inner tube handles oil-based fluids without breaking down. Rated for 500,000 impulse cycles, it's built to take repeated pressure spikes over a long service life rather than just occasional use.

What kind of stuff can this hose handle, besides just hydraulics?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 5, 2026, 6:19 AM
This Aeroquip hose is rated for gasoline, fuel and lubricating oils, air, and even water.
