Rated for suction service across hydraulic systems, lubrication oils, gasoline, air, water, and chemical transfer lines, the Eaton Aeroquip Wire InsertED Suction HSE is built around a helical wire and textile reinforcement structure with a synthetic rubber tube and an elastomer cover. The 2-ply braid construction handles the mechanical demands of suction applications while maintaining flexibility at a minimum bend radius of 14 inches and a working temperature floor of -40°F.

Certified to SAE 100R4 and ABS standards, this hose carries Msha, Bureau Veritas, and USCG compliance approvals, making it appropriate for marine and industrial environments with strict safety requirements. The conductive construction supports static-dissipative installations. Compatible fittings include OTC, TTC, -40 and -48 crimps, and reusable nipple clamps. At dash size -40 and a rated impulse cycle life of 500,000 cycles, the hose is designed for sustained performance under demanding conditions. The embossed lay line and blue elastomer cover aid in field identification.

got a suction line that’s been kinking on me, how tight can you bend this 2661-40 hose?

For the -40 dash size, the minimum bend radius is 14, so you want to keep your routing at or above that bend to help prevent kinks and restriction.
