motor's pretty compact from what I can tell, but what's the actual width on it?

At 5.12 inches wide, it fits into tighter machine layouts without a lot of reworking around it. That compact footprint is one of the things that makes the Series 26 a decent pick when space is at a premium in a build or retrofit situation.
